Driver Turns Himself In After Hit-And-Run Death

  • Charges are being considered against a 20 year old Edgewater man who turned himself in hours after a body was found along an Anne Arundel County highway in a suspected hit and run.
  • Stuart Sohovich walked into the Southern District Station yesterday and said he thought he was the driver involved.
  • Police found the vicitm along Solomon’s Island Road near Harwood Road early Sunday.
  • The name of the person who died has not been released.
  • Investigators estimate the pedestrian was struck between 2:30 a.m. and almost 7:30 a.m.
  • Anne Arundel County police said they are consulting with the state’s attorney before any charges are filed.
